Ants

Pictures, I know I know.
I cannot get into my office at the moment. I mean, I CAN, but, well. Life. You know?
We are having a major ant problem, and I cannot afford the money for the exterminator guy. Sucks. So I just keep vacuuming them up. Fun. NOT.

Todds migraines are really a pain in the ass as well. Talk about a total and complete disruption of life. And the people he works with don't get it. They are all "Whats the deal, they are just headaches." I wish a migraine on each of those people. Seriously.

Pfft. Anyway, as I type this, I have a toddler who demands attention, plus? More ants to suck up.

Wonder if the zoo would lend me an anteater?

we have an ant problem almost every summer too. it sucks bad. we can't afford for someone to come in and spray so we too just kill 3947809 ants a day. greg found some little dome like things that have something that attracts them and kills them in it... they did work after the second batch. good luck. loved the anteater comment... that was funny :)

The tiny little sugar ants right?
They are driving me insane! They are everywhere on my counters, on my window sill in the kitchen, around the sink.
I just keep killing them and then wiping down everything with clorox wipes, but they just keep coming back.

Ugh.

Believe it or not, NJ's mom puts whole cloves on the counter and her ants go away. She swears by it, and when she puts the cloves out (you know, they usually go in ham?) there are never ants. Cheap enough to buy a jar and try it, Jen.

It's ant season here too. One of my coworkers told us if you spray around the walls with vinegar water it helps. I'm not sure if it works or not, but it might be worth a try.

EEW I hate ants. My parents get them bad at their house in the summer, but they are the big black ones. I remember waking up several nights with one crawling on my face.

We get them right before summer, the ants. They march around for a couple of weeks and then leave. Weird.

As for the migraines. My sister gets them. I think I may have had one when I was a teenager. Mike has had one, maybe two, since I've known him 9 years. I never really cared about them until until Sydni had on a few weeks ago. At least, all signs point to a migraine. It was TERRIBLE for her. I hope, hope, hope, hope, this is not a sign of something that's going to reoccur on a regular basis at such a young age. It broke my heart and all I can do is keep her food journal.
Being, sorta, in the medical field now....there are a LOT of medical professionals that don't get/buy the migraine thing either. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS they think someone complaining of a migraine is just a junkie looking for fix. It's sad. Especially when people are really suffering.
As an aside, if you suffer from an exploding gallbladder and go to the ER they will think you're a junkie too. First hand experience!
